What is the Purpose of This Website?
This website was conceived to provide
an easy way to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. While donations
and sponsorships are two of the biggest fundraisers for the National Multiple
Sclerosis
Society, not everyone is comfortable asking friends and family to sponsor
them in an MS Walk or MS Bike Tour. Also, not everyone is able to
make financial donations. Plus, if you already donate to the National
MS Society through sponsored events or donations, your use of the coupons
and other links on this website will help generate even more donations
by doing what you already love to do - shop online.
How Do These Donations Get Used?
The donations that you help generate
by shopping through this website go to fund research into finding the
cause, cure, and improved treatments of Multiple Sclerosis, provide service
to people with MS and their families, professional education programs
for healthcare providers, and advocacy efforts to encourage public policies
supportive of the needs of people with Multiple Sclerosis. To find

How Did This Website Come About?
Robert's mother, Jain Watson was diagnosed with
Multiple Sclerosis in her early 30s shortly after Robert was born.
Mrs. Watson suffered from a rare, primary progressive form of Multiple
Sclerosis, meaning that her symptoms worsened steadily over the course
of her life. Initially, she was able to walk with the use of a
cane, but within 20 years she lost complete function of her legs as
well as the loss of fine motor skills and required specialized nursing
care the last 10 years of her life. Mrs. Watson passed away
in June, 2005 from complications brought on by Multiple Sclerosis.
All contributions to the National Multiple
Sclerosis
Society generated through this website are made in memory of Jain
Watson. These contributions are made through the Georgia Chapter
of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Confirmation of
these donations will be posted on this page as well as in our
newsletter. Bookmark this page and subscribe to our newsletter using
the links at the top-right of this page and come back soon to see how much
you have helped contribute to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Thanks for your support of the National Multiple
Sclerosis Society!
